Michael A. Cremo (Drutakarma Dasa) is the author of antievolutionist book “Forbidden Archeology” he co-wrote this book with Richard L. Thompson (author of the books “Maya: The World As Virtual Reality” and “Mysteries of the Sacred Universe”). Forbidden Archeology challenges present day views about man’s origins and the established scientific order, Cremo claims that humans have lived on earth for ages (millions or billions of years) and points to fossil evidences which have been suppressed by modern scientists for fear of discrediting their own accepted views and work.
Cremo explains how man maintains a “knowledge filter” ignoring facts which do not fit to his accepted paradigm. Some dicard Cremo’s claims as “pseudoscience.” Why not investigate and decide for yourself…
I remember looking for information on the true origins of India’s Taj Mahal, and the controversy over what some claim to be the lost White Temple of Lord Shiva “Tejo Mahalaya.”This story contradicts modern history’s version which claims that is was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. (“History is written by the winners” but does that make it true?).
Stephen Knapp, is an author and mystic with interests in Vedic archeology and evidence supporting the reality of many other so called Hindu myths. I have explored his website for many years and still find it one of the most insightful and informative, I highly recommend it.

“Ancient Aliens” is an interesting documentary from a History Channel, about ancient cultures and their stories about divine or super beings. A remarkable note is that scientists found modern evidence of nuclear blasts which took place thousands of years ago, for example, the stories of the battle of Kurukshetra describe the Brahmastra weapon in the ancient texts of The Mahabharata.
I did notice an error when they mention Lord Rama instead of Lord Krishna as the main hero described in the epic book The Mahabharata. Lord Rama was described in the Ramayana which was written before Mahabharata. Amazing how the History Channel makes a mistake on such a commonly known fact, at least amongst Indologists and global historians, makes me think what else they overlook or don’t research properly.
A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada arrived in New York in 1865 following the request of his spiritual master to propagate Gaudiya Vaishnavism philosophy in the west. His early contact with the hippies in New York sparked interest in this ancient spiritual tradition and started the movement known as the “Hare Krishna Movement” or ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness). Srila Prabhupada continued his prolific translation work up until his earthly departure in 1977, leaving us a treasure of Vedic scriptures (originally written in Sanskrit or Bengali), most of these translations had been previously unavailable in the west.
Although the ISKCON movement suffered early attacks by anti-cult groups, several court cases involving corrupt members and in recent years have faced internal power struggles, Srila Prabhupada’s book translations and commentaries have been well received and praised by university scholars all over the world. His mission of translating and publishing classics like Bhagavad Gita (Song of God), Srimad Bhagavatam, Chaitanya Caritamrita, Nectar of Devotion and more than 80 books is a complete success.
Imagine the shock of the first European explorers going to India and seeing it’s splendor. Europeans were raised to believe they were the greatest and that their history, culture and scientific achievements were the finest in the world. Well, we will try to ignore the time when they believed the earth to be flat and that they did not discover America (since people where already living there), but stumbled into it while trying to find a better trade route to India. Recent archaeological discoveries and historical facts are now being presented to dispel centuries of deceit started by the British, and to expose it as a deliberately scheme to impose the Christian religion, as the Spaniards did with Latin America.
Discoveries of Indus Valley Civilization and the Harappan Civilization have unearthed important breakthroughs that put historians which participated in this plot to shame. Here is Part 1 of 3 episodes.
Last century British historians would prefer that you keep considering Vedic literary works like The Mahabharata and Ramayana as mythological legends. Never mind the fact that ancient India and Vedic Civilization provided foundations for most of the worlds philosophical doctrines, the mathematical use of the zero and so called “arabic numbers” (brought into Arabia by Indian merchants), and descriptions of the atom and the soul. Western egocentric civilizations refuse to acknowledge their sources, so one must play Indiana Jones and try to bring credit where credit is due. Lord Krishna’s lost city of Dwarka was one of these so called “legends,” but remains are now being uncovered by Dr. S.R. Rao, one of India’s preeminent archeologists. When speaking of divine incarnations, avatars or prophets of God, most people mention Jesus Christ, Krishna, Buddha or Prophet Muhammad. But when I ask about Lord Chaitanya or Gauranga “The Golden Avatar” I very rarely get an answer.
As predicted in ancient vedic scriptures, Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu appeared during an eclipse on the full moon night of March in Mayapur India about 500 years ago, He performed many miracles and converted sinful people into saints.
Many have seen or heard of the Hare Krishnas (probably and unfortunately through jokes or bad publicity focused on human errors and a few bad apples), but rarely do they bother to trace the origins of this great mission and what’s behind all the divine ecstacy and madness. The more scholarly inclined will know about my dearest Guru His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami and his now legendary work of translating the most important Vedic Sanskrit and Bengali scriptures of all time. His books and explanations, especially the edition of “Bhagavad Gita As It” have been praised as the richest translations and held in high esteem by University scholars all over the world.
With so much media emphasis on bad news and the lack of proper information, I feel an urgent need to present the mission of Lord Chaitanya and His Associates to this ever worsening state of global affairs (welcome to The Kali Yuga “The Age of Quarrel and Hypocrisy”), I hope that people will be able to get past human mistakes and discover the real treasure found in these timeless teachings on the science of God realization, Bhakti Yoga and Lord Chaitanya’s Sankirtan Movement which promotes the chanting of the Divine Names of God as the simplest and most ecstatic way in Kali Yuga to awaken our true eternal spiritual blissful nature and our dormant love of God. I hope this video will explain nicely:
I wanted to start this Vedic category with a video clip from Devavision Productions, describing how early European explorers and Indologists misinterpreted their findings. This ancient treasure of knowledge has been passed down from guru to disciple from time immemorial. It is recommended that one should study the Vedas from experienced teachers, not from so called scholars who merely poke around and speculate without practicing the spiritual disciplines described in these shastras (scriptures).
