Last century British historians would prefer that you keep considering Vedic literary works like The Mahabharata and Ramayana as mythological legends. Never mind the fact that ancient India and Vedic Civilization provided foundations for most of the worlds philosophical doctrines, the mathematical use of the zero and so called “arabic numbers” (brought into Arabia by Indian merchants), and descriptions of the atom and the soul. Western egocentric civilizations refuse to acknowledge their sources, so one must play Indiana Jones and try to bring credit where credit is due. Lord Krishna’s lost city of Dwarka was one of these so called “legends,” but remains are now being uncovered by Dr. S.R. Rao, one of India’s preeminent archeologists.
