Dr. David Suzuki speaks on education for a changing biosphere. He says “whatever we do to the earth, we do to ourselves.” This is a must see video on how we are educating young people about our environment and how we are dealing with fundamental needs like clean air, clean water, clean soil, clean energy. I hope you can take the time to listen to his insights and proposals to awaken our awareness of ourselves and our planet.
Some of us have heard about the huge amount of garbage collecting in the the Pacific Ocean about 1,000 miles off the California coastline, but I think this fact has somehow not made an impact, this garbage is not “just floating on top” of the ocean’s surface, it is becoming part of the ocean’s waters and all marine life, eventually being ingested by predators feeding off the marine life. Plastic molecules and toxins are being found in the tissues of ocean fish which are starting to contaminate humans eating those fish. Maybe it’s time we took this into consideration.
Architect Michael Reynolds has spent the last thirty years developing the ideal sustainable home. He calls this type of design “Biotecture” and makes good use of recycled tires and aluminum cans for the building’s foundation and walls. The Earthships cost about the same as a conventional home to build, but without having to pay as much or in some cases no utility costs. Michael Reynolds has just released a new “Garbage Warrior” DVD documenting his plight.
It is important to understand the difference between HEMP and MARIJUANA (Marihuana). Yes, both are part of the CANNABIS family but were grown from ancient times for very different purposes. Lamont Dupont (Dupont Chemical Co.) and William Randolph Hearst (Newspaper magnate) deliberately made false propaganda about Hemp production to confuse it with Marijuana. Both would loose billions of dollars if Hemp continued to be grown legally and did everything to stop their competition. Their deceitful plot has brought drastic consequences to our economy and ecology. Countries like China and India never stopped producing Hemp and Canada has just re-legalized their Hemp growing Industry with billions to gain. When is the U.S.A. going to take off the blindfold and wake up from this deceitful economic transaction? Seems to me the fear tactics are working fine and keeping everyone under control, whatever happened to the pursuit of freedom? Freedom from lies and ignorance will set one free. For more information visit the North American Industrial Hemp Council, Inc. website: http://naihc.org/
Hemp Oil Canada Inc. says their Hemp industry is growing at least 20% per annum, exporting their Hemp products mainly to the U.S.A., Mexico, Korea, Japan, Finland and U.K. About 45% to 50% of their Hemp Products are going to the U.S.A. Health Canada recognized the difference between Hemp and Marihuana and re-legalized the cultivation of industrial Hemp in March of 1998 and since then have been licensed by Health Canada to grow Hemp Food, Hemp Body Care and Hemp Industrial type products.
The U.S.A. produces 12 billion tons of solid waste annually. Brian Appel and his team have built a giant chemistry set in Philadelphia that takes any kind of organic material (anything that contains carbon) and converts it into oil. The process is called Thermal Depolymerization “TDP” and it copies the earth’s natural process for making fuel. They start by shredding the material, mixing it with water, pressure cooking it and then separating the oil from the water.

Here’s the entire “The World According to Monsanto” documentary (1:48 mins.) if you want to learn more about how they work on controlling our food.
Most of us were programmed at Disneyland and watching TV ads to think of Monsanto as a cool futuristic space age company solving the problems of the world. Now, with the masses brainwashed, Monsanto seems to stop at nothing to gain control of our food sources and soon our world. Sounds like science fiction comics but along with Dupont (genetically modified seed giant), these two mad scientists seem to be playing out some twisted childhood fantasy. I thought Austin Powers’ arch enemy Dr. Evil was fictional, now it seems like a documentary based on a Monsanto CEO. … Well, filmaker Marie-Monique Robin has a passion for the truth and reveals the troubling past of this power hungry agricultural company in her documentary film “The World According to Monsanto.”
Kyosemi revolutionized traditional solar cell design. This major breakthrough has created innovative applications and increased solar power efficiency, it’s cylindrical shape is able to capture reflected and diffused solar light.
