It is important to understand the difference between HEMP and MARIJUANA (Marihuana). Yes, both are part of the CANNABIS family but were grown from ancient times for very different purposes. Lamont Dupont (Dupont Chemical Co.) and William Randolph Hearst (Newspaper magnate) deliberately made false propaganda about Hemp production to confuse it with Marijuana. Both would loose billions of dollars if Hemp continued to be grown legally and did everything to stop their competition. Their deceitful plot has brought drastic consequences to our economy and ecology. Countries like China and India never stopped producing Hemp and Canada has just re-legalized their Hemp growing Industry with billions to gain. When is the U.S.A. going to take off the blindfold and wake up from this deceitful economic transaction? Seems to me the fear tactics are working fine and keeping everyone under control, whatever happened to the pursuit of freedom? Freedom from lies and ignorance will set one free.
