DJ Sasha had to custom build his own controller to manipulate parameters on Ableton Live Music Software, other DJs and electronic musicians have used custom software with multitouch screens or available MIDI controllers to more or less do the job. But AKAI released the AKAI APC40 a dedicated USB MIDI Controller especially designed for Ableton Live. I checked on the price at Sweetwater and it’s affordable.
